A young lady is bound to run into a mermaid ruler.

Because of problems with her job, Shen Luo (Bea Hayden) moves back to the small island cottage where she spent her childhood with her grandfather. At the point when Shen Luo discovers that her granddad has been determined to have malignant growth, she chooses to remain to deal with him.

Shen Luo is unaware that Wu Ju Lan (Feng Shao Feng) is on his way to her as she settles back into a quieter life on the island with her childhood friends Jiang Yi Sheng (Huang Ming) and Zhou Bu Wen (Sui Yong Liang). Ju Lan is a mermaid ruler whose otherworldly pearl was taken by Shen Luo's predecessors a long time back. Ju Lan needs the supernatural pearl to drag out his life, and he currently accepts that Shen Luo's granddad has it.
