Stay by my side

 Raised by his granddad, Gu Bu Xia (Hong Wei Zhe) experienced childhood in a castle sanctuary. With an otherworldly mechanism for a granddad, one would imagine that Bu Xia would be utilized to the universe of the powerful. Tragically, the time enjoyed with his granddad has never really mitigated Bu Xia's anxiety toward phantoms.

Bu Xia quickly finds himself sharing a room with Jiang Chi (Yang I Hsuan), a transfer student, after his grandfather dies. As great at sports as he is at scholastics, Jiang Chi and Bu Xia couldn't be more unique. 

However, Bu Xia's difficulties do not stop there when she has to deal with a new roommate. Bu Xia starts to hear voices shortly after his grandfather's death. Apprehensive he may be experiencing serious fantasies, Bu Xia is nearly looking for clinical assistance when he understands that the voices in his mind are really the voices of phantoms! Totally frightened, Bu Xia doesn't know how to deal with this new and startling turn of events.

 However, he is aware that the voices do not bother him nearly as much when he is with Jiang Chi.

Bu Xia tries to get closer to his new roommate in an effort to silence the voices, but Jiang Chi becomes more charming the closer he gets. With his affections for Jiang Chi developing, Bu Xia realizes he can't keep reality from his flat mate perpetually, yet how might he make sense of the voices in his mind without Jiang Chi believing he's totally freaked out?

Wu Kai Hui is the director of the Taiwanese supernatural romance drama "Stay by My Side" in the year 2023.
